Elle’s policy work centres on the responsible integration of emerging technologies into public life. She works across governance, education, and international institutions to ensure that innovation remains aligned with human dignity, democratic resilience, and long-term societal wellbeing.

Her contributions focus particularly on AI governance, data protection, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and intergenerational foresight.

Future Thinking

 

As a Next Generation Champion and Facilitator with the School of International Futures (SOIF), Elle actively contributes to the implementation of the UK National Strategy for the Next Generations Programme. Elle's insights have been presented at the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Heads of the Horizon Scanning Network and Next Generation Foresight Practioners advocating for integrating transformative foresight into decision-making processes worldwide.

Elle, along with a team of Future Champions and the team at SOIF, have been collaborating to create a more participative and future-oriented UK National Strategy. Through comprehensive training in future-thinking methodologies, Elle held intergenerational national dialogues, collecting citizens' valuable input on political matters such as technology and innovation, democracy, culture, conflict intervention, economic prosperity, climate change, and health and wellbeing.

Advocacy Beyond Borders:

 

As a Common Futures Conversation Member at Chatham House, Elle actively participates in cross-continental engagement among young individuals from Africa and Europe. Elle's contributions to collaborative discussions cover pressing global challenges such as the threat of AI, human trafficking, climate change, conflict resolution, and inequality. 

G7 Y7 Ambassador

The Y7, or Youth 7, is a significant component of the G7. Elle served as a G7 Y7 Ambassador with the Future Leaders Network, representing Britain and collecting and supporting young people's views on political matters related to health, climate change, digital transformation, technology, and the economy. In 2021, she attended the 2021 summit and spoke at international roundtable discussions.

Driving Digital Inclusion:

Elle believes in pushing for better digital skills education, emphasising the importance of equipping individuals with the necessary tools to navigate and succeed in an increasingly digital world. By building a global network of volunteers, Elle fosters collaboration and collective action to drive meaningful change in bridging the digital divide.
